Child Therapy
Raising a child in these uneasy times can be frustrating, confusing, and scary, and it’s okay that you’re feeling like you could use some support.
As a counselor and “feelings expert,” I create a safe space for children to explore emotions and help them learn more about why they do what they do.
I use play and art-based approaches to help your child talk and play through their uncomfortable feelings—learning more and more about them as we build a relationship. I love to sit on the floor, draw, build and have fun with children to help them open up to me.
For your older children, I use activity-based therapy and talk therapy in session. As they teach me about who they are, I share my clinical insights with you as the parent or guardian, to help support your understanding.
We can then work as a team to share ideas about how to solve challenging family situations that are putting stress on the family as a whole. This team can include school professionals, speech therapists, or occupational therapists if requested.
